Where were you during EDSA People Power 1?

I was still in high school then. But I was already well informed. My late lolo is a regular subscriber of Manila Bulletin and he was really a fan of Marcos.

I respect him but deep inside I know Marcos was bad.

I was just at home listening to the developments on radio. I feel happy everytime a unit of the army defect to Gen. Ramos and Enrile. It was surreal to see Marcos go.

It was something not common. The people were emotional and tense. It was really edgy then.

When Marcos was gone, it seems like a new day has dawned to the country.

i was on my father's shoulder as Cory was giving her speech at Quirino Grandstand. the day before i was clinging on my mother as she was standing on the sidewalk @ EDSA looking at my dad pushing the tanks.

yep i was an EDSA baby. and proud of it.

I was 11 year old that time. Wala man ko kahadlok kay kabalo naman ko nga matangtang to si Marcos. Ang sayop lang naton is napili nato ang sayop nga leader puli ni Macoy. Cory Aquino was not the good choice. Nindot unta kung si PGMA to, hehehe

i was 5 yrs. old then, Cebu..i remember my parents watching the television with images of people crowding Edsa, tanks, soldiers, nuns with rosary beads in their hands and a lot of commotion going on the streets..i was just watching but never asked or said anything nor felt afraid bec. i really don't know what's happening..oh i remember well, i was playing or drawing and happy bec. there were no classes while the grown-ups were watching tv...**sigh** the innocence of being a kid..**missing**
