The title says it all ...
As a TS , I should do the honors of starting first ...
I was in Grade 7 and it was our homeroom period . After singing "Oh Canada" and the PA announcements , it was all normal . Then couple of minutes later , the principal announced over the PA that a plane crashed to the World Trade Centre and at the time I didn't know what the World Trade Centre was . It thought it was only an accident . Then he announced again that another plane crashed into other buildings and to the other - he must have a live TV or radio on in his office . But we , a bunch of 12-13 year olds in the room , didn't understand what was going on but looking at our teacher's face , something is wrong .
When my mom picked me up from school , everyone was talking about it on the streets and on the bus . When we got home , my dad was watching the news on TV and was in disbelief and silent . It costed me missing a Power Ranger episode that day . I end up watching the news and journalists started to speculate whether the Prime Minister would pull the Emergencies Act . Watching those plane crashed , it was one of the scariest thing I've ever seen knowing that I'm watching a real event and not a movie .
