    Default Connect a HDTV to a PC

    Need Help!

    Currently have a Samsung LA26R7 26" LCD TV. I want to connect it to my PC with a PALIT 7600GT video card. Im connecting it via a D-sub cable. Im not getting a clear resolution. Any advice on connecting it properly? Am I doing something wrong?

    Any help would do.

    i'm not sure if your Samsung TV has a DVI input. if there is just connect to it. If not, use a converter, "HDMI" - "DVI-D" cable/adapter. resolution should be better. also make use of the driver that came along with your v-card.

    The VGA still shouldnt be that bad, when you connected it to your TV, did you adjust the display settings on your VC?

    There are DVI-HDMI adapters for sale at around PHP 900.00 Let me know if you are interested. After that you still need to buy and HDMI cable to match with this adapter.

    VGA is sort of grainy or lets say I can see ripples on the LCD TV. I did adjust the display settings on the video card.

    I already have an HDMI cable, that came free with the purchase.

    Is there anything else that I can check? or you can suggest aside from the adapter?

    @charles_xavier..

    What resolution are you using? The problem might just be with software settings.

    try fiddling around with the resolution and set it to 1366x768.

    DVI/HDMI will give you a more consistent image but D-Sub shouldn't be that bad.
