    Default Connecting 2 Computers

I have 2 computers at home -- a pentium III (A) and a core 2 duo (B). I want to connect the 2. My B computer has its LAN card used for broadband. How do I do it? I'm thinking of purchasing an ethernet card for my A Computer and a rj45 cable to connect. Is this even possible? I want to connect my B computer from USB while my A computer through the ethernet card. I really have no idea about this so, I hope someone could help. My A computer has 1.0USB while my B computer has 2.0USB that's why I wanted only my B computer to be connected through USB while my A computer connected through an adapter. What are the things I need to buy?

you can use a 4-port/8-port switch or router to connect the internet's modem/router & the 2 pcs in one network..

But if you have two NIC/Ethernet card in one pc, pwede ra man nimo xa maconnect.. just use cross cable config of RJ45..

btw, sa networking unta ni nga topic..

Anywayz, pwede mogamit lang kog usb to rj45 adaptor in one computer then an ethernet card in the other computer. Then, i'll connect the 2 using rj45 cable. ok ra na siya?

pwidi man pero not advisable.. usb is not built for networking communication.. if ever maka connect ka using usb. possibility dunai loss sa signal or dunai intermettent issues about disconnection

the cross cable works 100%, caso if dli ma au pagkahimo.. or guba ang cable. pero ma test man xa from the time ga himo pa..

    I see...
I have another question or should I make another topic?... Tell me lang if I should make another topic. Here's the question...

What if I want only the internet connections between the 2 computers. I mean I don't want the 2 computers to be dependent with one another. Can I use a regular wire splitter for the cables? And can the 2 computers use the broadband internet at the same time and if only 1 computer is turned on?
