yup DownloadHelper for Firefox can help you grab videos from YouTube in FLV format. less than 1MB lang na xa na extension, mao sad ako gamit grab ug videos sa Stage6, Veoh, YouP*** ug puede sad mga music sa iMeem, eSNIPS, PureVolume, etc..

Also, there's no need to use Videodownloader/Youtubehelper/etc. If you use Firefox, you can simply find the FLV file (on XP) in this folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\{<XP_Username>}\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\{<random_numbers_and _letters>}.default\Cache\

After having completely downloaded the video in Youtube as per the progress bar, on the folder mentioned, arrange the files by Date Created and look at file sizes. The latest file created (by date) and the largest file found should be the FLV video you just downloaded. Use VLC Player or Media Player + FFDShow to open it. If it won't open, or if it's not the video you're looking for, look for the next file that fits the profile of the video you want to see.

This works for pretty much any flash video-based sites (DailyMotion, Veoh, Youtube, even The Onion).
