    The phrase "earnings and other remunerations," which are deemed NOT part of the basic salary, includes payments for:

    1. Sick leave
    2. Vacation leave
    3. Maternity leave
    4. Premium for works performed on rest days and special holidays, pay for regular holidays and night differentials.

    to shed some light lng guro ni just n case.. wlay labot ang vl or sl. so kon niabsent ka kato equi ato dli na part sa computation sa basic salary nmo that period kay legally excluded sya so dli sya maapil sa 13th month pay.

    I agree with you tackielarla murag dili ma affected ang absences and tardiness.. but there is a law sa labor code that says 20 consecutive absences is subject to deduction sa 13th month.

    dili man sad mo make sense ky i deduct na gud ang late and absences. so grabe nasad kung i deduct pa gyud sa 13thmonth.

    also wala pa ko naka experience sad nga ma deduct ang 13th month. ambot lang karon well see
