So, sa giingon pa, "prevention is better than cure". sakto man sad na nga mag amping or mag matngon jud ang mga drivers para dili ma disgrasya.

Bai no matter how defensive you are as a driver, naa juy limit ang human reflex. What is needed is reasonability. Both drivers and pedestrians are responsible for their welfare.

I'm not talking about drivers who purposely drive aggressively, but drivers who take all the care in the world and still have the misfortune of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Dili lalim ang pag-priso sa tao, you have to have a sense of justice in your mind as well. I understand that if a pedestrian dies, the normal public reaction would be to cry out for blood. But think for a moment that one life has already been ruined, it is not necessary to ruin another one especially if it was an accident caused solely by the negligence of the pedestrian. If the pedestrian valued his life more, he would not be dead. Again I'm not talking here about the drunk driver who plows into a coffee shop and kills a number of people. I'm talking here about stupid pedestrians/motorcycle/etc getting themselves killed and you know there are a lot of them here! Putting drivers to prison for the mistakes of others is not the way a civilized society should behave.

I agree to your point sir RMK, it's very practical. But as stated in the bill... "erring public transport drivers". So, I believe nga naa pa gihapon due process before ma establish kung erring ba. Dili siguro automatic nga kung maka ligis, priso jud.

they should make a damn law nga maka defend sad ang tarung nga drivers from unbelivably dumb pedestrians. labi na gyud diri sa Cebu hastang atay nalang mag lakaw sa karsada, mu kalit lang og labang, then kung ma saghiran ikaw pay kasab.an.

maayo gyud nang ligsan nalang dayun aron ma matay. lungon nly gasto. then mu dawat raman nang mga bua.ya. samok.
