Being an outsider, I do not know the issue between Barcode and Yawara pero matapos ko mabasa lahat ng exchanges, I think Barcode should sit and talk with the people in abellana to settle the matter. For Judo's sake.

I think Barcode is wrong when he said he does not know what kind of Judo is taught in abellana simply because they dont tap or they think being thrown several times is already kulata. Bilang instructor dapat alam mo kung ano ang training sa Kodokan, where Judo began. Have you seen how the Japanese trains in their dojo? If you have, then you would understand the kind of training that abellana has as you said. But if not, then I cannot qualify you as an instructor. Sorry but that is my opinion having trained from one dojo to another at the NCR.

Also huwag ka magalit about your blackbelt. If you think they are wrong, show them your blackbelt certification. Kung wala ka noon, well . . . . . .

Someone was also asking about the medals you won in the nationals. Enumerate them para mapahiya sila. Ipakita mo na deserving ka na maging instructor ng USC. Sabihin mo mga accomplishments mo.

You are right Barcode. the medals does not make a judoka. Are you trying to tell me that you dont have any medals? Ang medal kasi is just one way of measuring ones knowledge of the art. Kung wala kang medal baka wala kang alam sa Judo? E bakit ka ginawang instructor? Kawawa naman ang mga estudyante mo. Alam mo if this happened in Japan, yung instructor nag sepuko na kasi kinukwestiyon ang credentials nya. That is what you get for getting into a lot of martial arts and mastering none. tsk tsk. And for the certification, you should be the one to secure it huwag ang yaya mo. Besides, you sound like pinilit ka lang mag blackbelt pero kung may hiya ka alam mo na undeserving ka sana hindi mo na lang ginamit. In other words, you have reduced yourself to a lowly mammal.

Many people practice judo differently. when barcode said he did not know what kind of judo they were practicing, what he meant was he did not know the specifics of the training, like focusing on throws, or submissions, or pins, or maybe even the Judo with "atemi", or about their conditioning approaches.

I never read any post about him claiming he has medals or anything. let us not go overboard with this.
Ive never seen anybody "Transfer" to USC because "gi pirate" sila.

And to be honest and practical, you dont need a black belt to teach or to help teach... what you need is dedication, and the heart to share with other people the things that they want to learn.

Ako, I am not an "official" member of USC judo club, I just go there to train, work out and have fun. What ive noticed there is that even brownbelts and whitebelts can help teach each other. And I'm sure abellana has the same friendly environment as usc, so kung naa man gani "chismis" nga naa kunoy nag daot diri or didto.. let us not go overboard with things especially if there are no clear facts yet.

in case naay tao from one dojo nga naay problema sa pikas dojo.. please do not involve the "dojo" sa mga personal nga issues. There are many respectable People from Abellana and at the same time in USC too.

I really hope you guys can work it out... again i do not know everyone who has posted but it does seem like this is pretty harsh...
