actually, there is an ongoing pencak silat session in abellana. im the coordinator and coach of the group. we are part of Silat Assli founded by our head pendekar Hadji Yasser Tanadjalan who is also the head coach of the National Team. however, we are only authorized to teach in that venue . for other venues, it has to be coordinated with Philsilat. training is evry sunday at 5 Pm and the focus is in Olahraga ( sport). we do jurus ( forms), tanding ( sparring) and bela diri ( self defence). training is for a very minimal fee. the only requirement is the standard pencak silat uniform and committment. that is why membership is carefully screened since the club is not a commercial one..
