The problem with society, they might dictate what is right and what is wrong. Like you said marijuana... yes its true... never proven in science to trigger any brain irregularities nor it gives you bad health. But then again we got cigarette advertisement... People in Power wants control therefore they dictates.

In north Korea oh yea, KIM JUNG ILL is God, they pray for him, people pledge to kill Americans... I don't know if this kind of society is still Right. But yea they are one big Society... I don't know brad.

well, i could say the same thing to the popular GOD people adhere to. it really hasnt proven anything. there goes your right and wrong concept.

how will you know what is right or wrong?
with your own standards?
if we will just use our own standards everything will be right.
like:
1. its right to have many wives.
2. its right to cheat.
3. its right to get all you want.
4. its right to gamble, take drugs, kill and etc.

GOD told us what is right and wrong and its upto our Free Will to follow it or not.

society dictates believing in god is good for you. even though it has no bearing.
society dictates whats fancy, whats hip, what's IN.

but man in general know what works and what doesn't. he/she knows what's right or wrong.
CONSCIENCE. everyone came with one from the assembly line.

it doesnt mean if you have no god you've got none. nor if you have LOTS of gods you're screwed.

1.) I humbly admit that my knowledge towards Buddhism is not enough for me to further my initial conclusions.
