can i use an atom-powered netbook in running Photoshop CS4?

well you can bro tried and tested na nko sa first single core atom processor the 945gclf

i would recommend you to buy the asus ion with celeron 220 it can do dual channel and is far more better than normal atoms. the thing is i dont know why nvidia ion ni siya which is its only for the atoms and celeron is clearly not one. nvidia ion has builtin 9400 series nvida igp.

music and videos are really ok pero keep in mind that an atom before the ion series is not capable of playing blueray. ive tried playing blue ray and it had a bad effect the video turned out to be smooth for the first 5 seconds i think then after that you will see a slide show. the minimum requirement for blueray is a 256mb gpu.

typical videos will be jst fine but high end content is not a good idea for this torrent rig.

i dont even recommend this on using for internet. mo lag siya if you open more tabs considering na 2gb ram ako gi butang ato.

so far all i can say is gud for torrent and less work applications only.
