Atom, no doubt the best system for torrent rigs. Looks like im going to make one pud nya kay cheap ra ang board/procie.

Fern's idea of dual channel boards in atom is good. The only problem is that I have never seen a Atom system that has 2 memory slots. In fact, package na ang processor ug ang mobo when you buy any of the two.

Have been thinking of getting the Intel Desktop Board D945GCLF2 and add a dvr pci card on the available slot.
this way I can let the security cam record in the background, i'm planning to install a web server so that I can check the recorded video remotely. this rig is connected to the net 24/7 thus, it will be downloading also torrents while the camera is taking videos. what do you think? is it possible?

btw, i like this one since it has TV out. i dont need to buy an lcd or monitor for this one.

btw... i think the atom processor is very cost effective for Cash register machines, POS machines, and electronic vending machines...

based on the list above, go for this one 945GCD-M. But keep in mind that its form factor is uATX. AsRock is a bit expensive. Around 14K. I think Asus AT3N7A-I is very good, if you can get it.
