HIS X800XL or GeForce 7900GT?

Lo mga bosing, I think I have a big problem with the 7900GT, it requires a 6 pin connector external power for the video card. Which requires the seasonic power supply not available in any stores in the whole Phillippines. Take a closer look at the the 7900GT video card. Are any one of you aware of this? This connector comes with the power supply. And mine is Generic, pls need some advice

It is not a seasonic power connector, its called PCIe power connector. Usually theres a converter supplier when you buy the card. Also make sure you have atleast 400Watts of a goodbrand PSU.

So unsa man ako buhaton? i will buy the video card and a power supply? Branded power suply costs around 5k to 8k? oh my God!!! Dako na kau gasto. Libog ko samut, maypa mag 7600GT nalang or 6800GS. Na unsa naman ni oi, hapit nata ko palit? Sobra naman nuon ka libog.

all modern PSU's that meet the needed power requirements for modern videocards have those also.

@Conrad: pila ka watts imong PSU and what brand? can you include the complete specs nalang including fans/lights

we have two computers here sa apartment, akoa og akong kauban............ one powered by 7900GT (Inno3D) and mine is powered by X800XL (GeCube).............. I would definitely say GO for 7900GT without any hesitation!!!!

qucik comparison:

NFSMW - 1280x1024 all maxed out kamang na akoa, ang 7900GT dili pa...
Oblivion - 1280x1024 all max except no AA and Vsync off, kamang gihapon akoa ang 7900GT dili pa... Gi lower nako to 1024x768 and tried to fire up AA, kamang gihapon.................. so............ my X800XL is getting slow na!!! upgrade nasad atay??!! hehehehehe....

pero AA quality, champion gyud gihapon ang ATI though they are not the fastest cards around.... side by side comparison mi sa akong kauban diri, similar among systems, same monitor (Samsung 793DF), mas ganahan gyud mi sa 3D video quality sa ATI especially firing up AA and AF....

bottomline, based on our personal experiences, if you want quality, go for ATI but if you want speed, go for nVidia.............

I might go for an X1900GT, though 7900GT is more cost effective than X1900GT..... but then again, I choose quality always... bahalag kamang?! wahahahaha!!!

EarlZ)Helo, my psu is dala ra cia sa akong casing. I-rock man akong casing then 500watts. (Bim27142)Kana imo kauban bai na nag gamit ug 7900GT, wala ba prob sa iya 6 pin power connector?unsa iya psu pra kana lng sad ako paliton.
