which is better/best VC betweeen ATI 4870 or Geforce GTX 285 w/sulit sa budget

Just need your advise between the 2 VC that will be sulit sa budget.

PALIT 4870 1gb or PALIT GForce GTX 285 1GB?

am just confused lang between the two if sulit ba the 285 for that price or
just take the 4870. please need ur advise mga master storyans

Depends on the game , who your asking and where you are reading but based on my own personal testing the 4870 1GB is only comparable to the GTX260 Core216.

I personally got the GTX285 as it is a faster and better card for all my games compared to what ATI has to offer.

Currently ATI has some driver issues w/c is a huge detractor, several of my friends with 4870 1GB / 4870X2 are facing driver issues that they had to revert to a very old version just to keep their systems from working well, altho i understand that not everyone is facing this issue as i never faced this issue when i had my chance to test both 4870 1GB and 4870X2.

gtx285 is really fast compared to 4870. but for casual gamers, u would not appreciate the minimal difference. of course sa synthetic benchmarking, u will be proud of the gtx285.

for me, 4870 is ok na, not that fast but not slow either (all high on game settings).. but if budget is no question, then gtx285.

If i am on the market for a new video card now with a budget 12-13k to spend I will get 4890 or 275. But if you can get 285 @ 16k locally...kana na lang kay sa newegg around 17-18k pa ang price
