I really don't understand why she's doing this. Instead of helping her hometown tua na man hinoon sa la-ing lugar ni tabang and she really expect us to vote for her? HELL NO! Wala ni niya liho-ka sa panahon sa mga Ouano maybe because wa siya maka uyon nila? Di gihapon niya lihokon sa administrasion ni Mayor Jonas kay labaw pa siyang wa ka uyon. What gives? It really boils down to her not loving Mandaue.

this is the first bill filed in july 24 2007. 17 years after Mandaue City had met all criteria set by congress for a city to become a lone congressional district.

what other proof do you need to show that nerry, who wants to the next mayor, has no love for Mandaue City ? maayo pa balhin nalang na siya puyo sa Lapu-Lapu. mas duna siya'y pagbati didto

Dear Mandauehanons,

Since 1991 Mandaue City had met the criteria set by Congress for a Local Government Unit to become a Lone Congressional District.

The above Bill was filed by the Honorable Congresswoman of the 6th District
only in July 24, 2007. Perhaps this was filed late because she was protecting Mandaue from the Ouano Regime who lorded it over Mandauehanons even before this time until Jonas said enough (!) and challenged their leadership for our city. But maybe not because she is now Ouano's staunchiest defender in Mandaue. Or perhaps it was a selfish move to protect her grip of her polical machine in the 6th District. Either way, it deprived Mandauehanons of their rightful representation in the Philippine Congress for 18 years !

For the love of Mandaue (!) could she not see that congressional funding to the tune of 70 Million a year could have been had for Mandaue and its citizens? For the 3 terms that she had been in office that would have amounted to some 630 Million Pesos.

And now she wants to be mayor of Mandaue ?! Pag Sure uy !

It seems that from 2003 up to 2007 our Honorable Representative has
increased her net worth to as much as a phenomenal 1,351% !

I guess being our Representation in the 6th District is quite
lucrative. Increasing her net assets by 13.51 times !

I wonder if the Ombudsman will take kindly these figures.

For those who still push for politicians who are mired in the system of graft and corruption, consider this. You need not tell us, but if you are really sincere, ask somebody who knows personally the answer. You need not tell us. But if you find out or get the correct answer or already know, you nothing but a blind follower and you do not have any heart for Mandaue:

1. Pila ang pangayo kaniadto for the issuance of a permit of a new business? One that I personally know, the owners paid P8 million unya, hangyo pa gali to.

2. Pila pangayo kanang project involving CDF, or countryside development fund?

Again, personal knowledge, 35% up front even before the project has started.

If anybody can tell us positively that this is happening in the administration of Jonas Cortes, many of us will resign immediately because we are helpin his administration primarily because we believe that he is good for Mandaue.
