    two thumbs up for vietnam!

one nice place. lami ilang noodles (pho), bread and coffee!
some places to go -- cu chi tunnels, cable cars, pagodas, damsen park, beach resorts, island hopping in central vietnam, halong bay (a world-heritage) up north. motorbikes are a necessity and not only used to transport people but other things as well, like a TV, ref and other appliances, animals, plants, furniture etc -- mao pud ni ilang ONLY IN VIETNAM. unya ang motorists di ganahan mo.stop and if a pedestrian will cross a street, the direction would be to go straight ahead kay ang motorists naman bahala molikay....no kidding it works there! food is affordable except some imported goodies though they seem to have more imported stuff than we have here. medicines are affordable too. fruits are abundant and inexpensive. the locals are friendly and smiling -- just dont let them hear 'no good' during an interaction kay tubagon gyud nila ug 'go away'

and best of all, when in saigon, one can make a side trip to cambodia and kung laag pa gyud diretso to thailand by land.

i am going there around Feb 4....as soon as I arrive in Hongkong...i am excited as it will be my first step towards another country....

nindot man daw didto kay daghan cultural nga tourist spots and cheap lang daw ang cost of living...daghan naman sad ni-tout sa Vietnam as the next tiger of Asia ... and i am sure that is not far from happening and as usual dili pud tingali layo mahitano nga ma-apsan na pud ta...
