16,000 Dong per U.S 1$. Barato ang kaon ug shopping. Mahal ang electronics, medyo mahal ang hotel. Nothing great ang sight seeing other than Cu Chi tunnel. Buang ang mga naka motorsiklo, they have maybe 20 motorcycles per 1 vehicle. You don't say "Beating the red light"; instead its "What red light?"

hehe, thought so, magunsa man sab ta didto, unless culture or mission work ang tuyo, i think sayang pasahe, adto nalang ko boracay if not HK.

Its not as bad as I made it sound like. Actually, ok naman ang 1 day city tour nila that includes cu chi tunnels, then some city sights. Then another day for shopping. Clothes there are ridiculously cheap, pero not the branded genuine ones. Importante aggressive ka muhangyo sa presyo.

ako mga frens naka-adto na...okay man daw kaayo ang vietnam.....nindot daw isuroy didto..but mahal lang gyud ang plete to vietnam....i guess thats the reason why dili au sya sikat as tourist destinations...

you would be surprised. Pwerteng daghang puti ang muadto didto. There are more caucasians, both from Europe and America who visit Vietnam than Asians. Naa man pud asians, but obvious kaayo ang mga puti didto. Mas daghan ang turista nila kaysa sa muari sa pilipinas.

One of my close friends is Vietnamese, and while I love their food, I just don't think there are nice tourist spots in that country. Sakto gyud si Mr. Ho_chia, mag unsa man pud ta didto?
