4k gaming, win or fail?

^^I believe when people said that, 1080p media were already around. Kung makakita ko ug bisan 1440p ra nga movie or natively coded game, id have to agree that 4k will soon be a gaming necessity. Until then, it is unnecessary (by context of the word NECESSITY). Bisan siguro parehas na sila ug price sa 1080p it is still not there on the level of "NECESSARY" as much as 1080p is. It will be nice to have but it wont make the visual experience better.

I thought games even then were natively coded at 1600p max? And I don't get when you said it won't make the visual experience better. How come one not notice a significant increase in pixels being fit on one screen. I'm talking about games btw.

^^ It's not any different from gaming @ 720p on a 1080p screen. It will just soften the image by inserting intermediate pixels derived from interpolating the adjacent pixels. Games nowadays are natively coded (polygons/objects/particles are maximized to fit best at that reso) at either 1200p or 800p, mostly at the latter.

800p is most likely on games coded first for consoles. But for pc exclusive games I find hard to believe they'll limit it at that resolution even 1200p. Anyway I'm no expert ani, and might have to do more reading. Batman Arkham Origins is said to be 4k native.

4K is too sharp for me and also i dont used gigantic monitors
