og karon... naghimo npud ko og thread. but this time it will be about remake games that you played. or you watched lang the trailer or gameplay then you have your critic.. share share shaaaaaaaaaaaaree!

so far ang awesome jd na remake akong na play ang Metal Gear Solid sa Nintendo Gamecube. wew. na impress jud ko sa new looks compare sa sauna nako na play over a decade hehe.

Final Fantasy III (SNES to Nintendo DS/ iOS).. graphics again. but nausab ang scripts nga ni enhance ang story.. but ang sound perting dukaa = wla pa nako mahuman.. hehe

umm... that's what remakes are partially.

Porting is a different case. It's usually associated to releasing games in a different platform, which mostly happens within the same generation. Developers just take the same game core mechanics, tweak the existing code to make it work on another platform. Same game, just in a different platform.

A remake on the other hand is an updated version of the original. The update either takes advantage of better graphics, control scheme or additional and modified content of the original game.

I've played Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D and the original version for >5 mins. LOL

But I should say mas nindot ang graphics gyud sa 3DS labina naka 3D mode. Then mas brighter ang surroundings, I don't hate the "dark" lighting sa original kay feel nako murag makahaladlok ba. Controls are easier kay naay touch screen then of course it's handheld! Pero I can't say too much. Only played the original for >5 mins and sa store pa gyud to

wow.. cool... never played pa ko sa Ocarina of time.. kato rang Majora's Mask... but around 2001 pa toh haha... ubay2 npud toh na mask akong na collect... dli kaau ko zelda fan... but ayos... stay playing nlang sa remake bro. hehe total remake games are made to keep the feel of the old games modernize.

I don't have the patience for Zelda games, really. Played an emu for Majora but I didn't finish it. Daghan lang guro ko problema ato then daghan huna-hunaon or I just want an easy way out

Remakes are awesome. Wa ko'y blema ana nila, especially nga mid-2000s (specifically 2004-5) ko naka-tag-iya gyud ug video game. So Zelda games and other 1980-90s and early 2000s greatest kay na miss nako.

So far, the best Remake Game I ever played is the Nintendo Exclusive Resident Evil for the Gamecube/Wii.
I don't pay much attention to the 'look' of the game but OMG I love the new mechanics of the game! It's really surprising to how much the game tends to be 'realistic' in nature. From the Crimsonheads (I love it, it feels very '30Days Later'-ish) to the Melee attack mechanics (hehee Jill with a taser--nice) The remake really put the "u" in SURVIVAL HORROR with this. The stuff I didn't like about this was Lisa Trevor--to me, she just felt unoriginal. . .I dunno, maybe because the 'random' area pop-up idea has gone stale since Clocktower wherein she reminds me of Scissorman. Another is those bravo team video tapes. . .well, technically it ain't have bad locating them (it is optional) but I just like the idea of mystery of the deaths of the Bravo team members. To me, not knowing how they died add a sudden tingle to the survival horror element. And Lastly, how they changed Richard Aiken's plot deaths (it differs) in the game. Personally, I would have just have his original death in the PSX/Saturn plot be the case. Just an option, that's all.

Although I ain't a fan of exclusives or a particular fanbase; I decided to give it a go anyway since I do have a Wii and it was accessible to me as a gamer. This is also how Nintendo's still kickin' butt with Sony and Microsoft to this day. Resident Evil's got a VERY HUGE fanbase and an agreement with CAPCOM to have RE:ZERO and RE:Make be Nintendo Exclusives was kind of a 'douchy' move but I have to admit it clearly was for business reasons. Diehard RE fans beg for a port or an HD remake on either Sony or Microsoft but it'll never happen. Remember that they had a signed agreement on those games AND FYI Nintendo and CAPCOM are both Japanese companies and in Japan, their word is bond.

Final fantasy IV, from snes to ds dagkong kausaban jud nice graphics Nya with talking dialogue na I've just finished it last April hehe for me okay kau enjoyable pud, hmm naka limot pako sa uban update nya lang ko balik
