If you have a small network 10-15 PCs you can just use stattic IP coz i also experienced the same problem using the DHCP server of that linksys router sometimes it can not negotiate an IP address. You can still prevent access to internet of a certain PC by filtering the MAC address of the LAN. LAN MAC address is static.

bai ok ra ang linksys ky CISCO CERTIFIED nAna.......about sa imu mac filter ..kung imu na na block ang mac sa usa ka pc to prevent access frm the net na block nato and also block the ip address para sure jud.......... i can change the mac address of my pc and hide my ip address para ang router dili ka kita sa info saku pc para dili ka block..i can also use the mac address and ip add of other users 3 softwares ra ang gamiton....basin kana imu g.block na pc naa cge usab sa mac and mag spoof sa mac address ana.......basin hacker na hehehe

try to off the firewall of the pc na dili mu appear ang ip add niya ky ang uban firewall g.restrict na dili mu allow i.display ang ip add sa router.......or basin wala jud na cya connection sa router ky dili mu appear iyang ip rcheck the cable and try ipconfig/all sa command prompt sa pc na dili mu display ang ip add.....if naa gali ip and default gateway ok na imu connection if wala .....cable problem or virus......

in addition sa pgdisable ang dhcp server sa router.. gihimo nalang pod nako og static ip ang sa setup kay dugay man gihapon makakita ang dhcp server..mag sige lang ta og release og renew dhcp until naa na value ang WAN.

block the mac addresses of the pc that you did want to access the internet even if dhcp you can block the mac address in the linksys router
