    my main concern is i want the job and i don't want to look like that i'm begging for the position.

    just my two cents, try to keep the salary matters up until the interview or when the employers started raising it on you, anyways if they are interested in hiring you they would always brought this up before you do. ^_^

    the no. 1 reason why companies ask what an applicant wants for a salary is to determine if ang imo gpangayo is wid in their salary range. dako ug gasto bya investing exams n interviews for applicants only to find out dli diay mudayon kai di kaapas ang company sa gipangayo.
    also, a salary range would be adcisable na imo ihatag as most HRD pipol would advice.
    30-40k salary? why not for as long as u know deserving ka and u have the experience and tech'l expertise to back it out. in an interview..dont beg for them to hire you instead, SELL urself for them to hire you

    I agree. U have to sell urself during the interview.
