vista is released but it is still in beta version.. its around this coming january 30.. can't wait to have one..

its not in beta anymore, the version released is for open license users at the moment.
on january 30 the version for home users will be released

hinay kung bati ang computer. kung less than 1gb imo RAM ayaw nalang pag dahom nga nindot imo experience sa Vista. In fact ang recommended nga RAM sa vista is 2GB.

That doesnt mean that Vista is fully out on retail channels, not all system builders have access or want vista now since driver support is still very poor until retail release dates.

You seem to sound to confident that vista requires 2Gb for ram, are you basing that on knowledge or experience ?
tbh, Vista does NOT consume more memory than XP, infact i had the same amount of free RAM from a fresh vista installation when compared to a fresh XP installation even with Aero running.

The problem here is that Aero requires a fast videocard despite how simple it looks, its not vista slowing down your system but its your system not able to cope up with vista.


A simple solution is not to use the 3D GUI, it runs as smooth as windows xp, but driver support is still poor, in about 8~12 months from retail release thats a good time to switch to vista.
