bro, wala jud ka naka connect since the start... the google page that you got was just a cache page..

since you are using wired connection > i check and status sa imo lac

control panel > network and internet > network and sharing center > left side- change adapter settings > lac

limited or no connectivity - check for the lights status sa modem... usually data and link or uplink and downlink > dapat on na ang duha most esp. and data.. if off and data kay it means naa problema sa router

    if on :
reseat ethernet cables > if possible swap both ends or use another cable para sure ka na the cable is working

check for status again > you can do diagnose > then use windows troubleshooter

you can ping your isp gateway too > if maka kuha a reply then naka by pass naka sa gateway > if wala kay wala jud ka ka establish ug valid connection > ipa check ang modem

try using another device sad > kay i maka connect ka using another device then possible na browser settings lang..

    >> if you are using ie > check for lan settings > tools > ie options > connections > lan settings > make sure no boxes are checked

    >> if mozilla > options > advance> network > settings > should be set to no proxy...

mao ra ni kay kapoi type... ugma nasad... hehehhe

did you update your LAN driver already?

hmmm.. same cable, LSD is set to safe mode, checked browser setttings. U've mention pud nga naa kai error about modem 651?

    Boss, try dis

In windows 7, when you try to connect using your PPPoE connections, you may be faced with the following error:

Error 651: The Modem (or other connecting device) has reported an error.

These connections would work just fine with Windows XP or Windows Vista PCs.

Again, you are not alone, this seems to be a known bug in Windows 7 that is being worked at. However, you can workaround this problem.

The RAS PPPoE driver file “raspppoe.sys” found under c:windowssystem32drivers folder seems to be the root cause of the problem. Fortunately, we can workaround the problem simply by renaming the original raspppoe.sys file to something like “raspppoe_orig.sys” copying a working file from a Windows Vista system. If you do not have access to a Windows Vista system. click here to download raspppoe.sys file (unzip)

link: Error 651 with PPPoE connections in Windows 7 | Windows Reference

Naglibog pud ko nganong ngka error ka og ingon ani nga wla man kaha ka nag PPPOE connection but anyway, try daw nah but dli lng jud ko sure kung relevant ba sa imong intermittent connection since ur not using PPPOE man.. but who knows that will resolve the issue dbah?

    Hope that helps

    Huh!
After all the replies from here, wala pa jud ma-fixed?

    ----------------

Dili jud ni IBM Thinkpad imo laptop noh?
Im asking this because most IBM thinkpads have this problem.
Most especially the not so latest models.

    Thinkpads got this exact behaviour.
Mo-connect for a few seconds or minutes, nya mo-disconnect dayon.

Since you did not answer my question, dili siguro thinkpad imo laptop.

    ----------------

    Dili kaha duha imo Antivirus?
    If duha, uninstall ang usa.

    Check sad imo TCP/IPv4 settings.
Tan-awa daw, basin naay naka-assign nga IP.
Dapat wala sulod tanan. Dapat Auto Detect na.
    "Obtain IP address automatically"

    Same with the DNS.
    Dapat auto or unfilled na.
    "Obtain DNS server address automatically"
