alangan man sad, hinay diod ang PATA oi.. if mas pas pas siya, they would have never created the SATA technology.. hehehe

try using hd tach or hd tune para makita nimo ang diperensya sa ila performance![]()
mas paspas ang SATA ug file transfer rate compare to the traditional IDE drives..

@TS: SATA vs PATA unta to para dili libog sabton.
difference between the two interface is the amount of data that they can transfer. obviously SATA can move more data not to mention the other "performance enhancements" such NCQ (native command queueing) through AHCI.Also, if you have AHCI disabled in BIOS, your SATA hard drives are emulating IDE mode.![]()
naa koy pc with 250gb sata and another pc with 250gb nga ide. both are identical ang hardware except sa hd type unya gi image nako ang duha. i cant see any difference sa ilang performance. if naa man siguro kay neglible ra. i guess dili na problema sa hd why ni slowdown na inyong mga pc sa office. basig napuno na og virus
i still prefer using IDE especially 40gb or 80gb pra primary..pra windows..sata for slave or secondary hehehe..for me lng..
