Ingon ana jud na bro.. there are some memory modules that will work on a certain chipset, and there are some that won't. Have you tried other brands of DDR modules? I had that motherboard of yours a year ago. You should be using DDR 266 sticks.

pero kung need to replace mobo as you said, ayaw intawn Lord malooy, ganahan pa intawn ko ani nga mobo, hehe. Guess ako e try og reset the CMOS jumpers, install the DDR sticks again, configure the appropriate pins and jumpers again, and leave it whole night seated there... crossed-fingers e ampo ko apil nga maayo unta ni, hu hu hu.
