What hinders Filipinos from acquiring Prosperity?

basi nakalimot mo filipino baya ta tanan? am i right? pero in my opinion, this is the result of the colonization of the SPANIARDS. we been colonized by the spaniards for more than 300 years, that is why most of our attitudes came from them specially the bad ones.

before we answer "what", we should first answer "why". what is the result of why...

in my opinion why? below in this order:

(1) Spanish colonization for 300 yrs...
(2) Marcos' dictatorship for 20 yrs...

so meaning, around 3 centuries and 2 decades of stagnant growth. then what?
