i can never be a catholic coz we were born and raise as evangelicals. i think all churches suffer the same problems where church members are dissatisfied with sa pamamalakad sa church, wrong teachings etc. no matter how you read the bible, there will always be people who will read them wrongly. my opinion lang po

if the devil's trick was to convince you that he doesn't exist, then how come you worshiped him once?

believing that God and Satan doesnt exist is already worshipping the devil..

thats why its my greatest sin..

I'm still in the "astray" phase. I don't go to mass and I don't pray. I'm bitter about the rosary too, which is a little ridiculous hehehe, because I hate it when people are bitter about things that disappoint them. And yeah, the rosary disappointed me once, I have yet to let go of my grudge. I never wanted to pray the rosary ever since that happened. I used to pray to Mother Mary before and always got my wishes granted. I was devastated that day... But it's not the part where I got "lost"...

Somehow, over the years, I just got tired of all the Catholic rituals, "inessentials of a religion", and I thought it was better to stick to Jesus' core teachings. I think Jesus was a great teacher and philosopher, and a really great role model.

Now I just find it weird, going to Church, doing confessions, etc... I imagine myself dying and facing God, and often I wonder if he'd really count the number of times I did all these things. Sometimes too I think that God doesn't have any religion, so why should I? lol... But I do believe God or some supreme being is there.

My conservative Catholic friends think that I'm just tempted by Satan, and that I should be careful because Satan's happy enough to take away my faith.

So most of the time, I'm just torn and confused.

Although sometimes, I accompany my friends to Church. I used to be an open minded conservative catholic. but now, I'm just non practicing.

mao may gitudlo sa pari nga ampoan.. so too sad sila... most priest suggests na mag pray jud ug rosary ug adto ni virgin mary para daw guidance... pero ug boot jud hunahunaon, adto ta ni Christo mag ampo ug ni God kay maoy nakasulat sa bible... sad to say wala ni gisangyaw sa Catholic faith, ambot ug ngano...

naa lay nahitabo bai, di ko ka explain, but mura paranormal.. daghan gyud ko pangutana, but matubag ra pud diay na imo pangutana basta imo lang pangitaon..

daghan pud atheist na na convert gyud pagka Christian, lain lain og istorya pero naa gyud milagro na nahitabo sa matag usa sa ila.

When I was in in my sophomore years (college)...I became skeptics...in some point of my life...
i started questioning...all those things...but not to the point that I reject God...

but then again...a very significant event...happen to my life...

kay sa una mn gud, dungan pa mi ug simba evry sunday...first mass jud pirme...walang paltos! bsan naay exam (college mn)...
suddenly, pagbalhin nia ug boarding hauz, ako nlng ndunggan nga sa lahi na nga church xa tigsimbahay, dili katoliko... didto mn gud daw xa nlipay, tua didto iyang bag-ong frend ug enjoy daw xa sa fellowship nga wa nia masinati sa mga panahon nga siya Katoliko pa...

at first, bitter ko...nka-ask nuon ko nganong ing-ato mn xa? sa panahon nga cge mi ug simba, wa diay xa gibatig kalipay sa mga lessons nga iyang natun-an gkan sa mga gipang preach sa pari?? wa xay nkat-unan??...
wa n ko nicmba sukad ato...ug sa mabaw kaau nga rason, gkalimtan nko ang Ginoo for a while...

pero niabot rjud ang panahon nga naa jud mga tawo nga magparealize nimo nga OK rnah... nkita man nia iya klipay ngadto, padayun lang pud ko ug asa akong kalipay....heheheh...
