scammed on ebay - has anyone experienced this? wat to do?

usually ang mga taw mao ra gihapon ila username gigamit sa mga website ug forum. kung makitan na nimo. naa kay chance makitan iya full name sa mga forum profile niya.

^Nice advice. Some of the comments made by customers "kuno" of the seller are also generated by the same person using different accounts. Transact only with powersellers next time. Report your issue with EBay so that the necessary steps can be done.

sorry to hear that......i got the same experience when i was new in ebay.......
sorry to tell you but if bag-o pa ang user or zero feedback, the only thing that you can do is report in ebay (which no chances mabalik imong kwarta) and worst thing you can get back to that seller is a negative feedback.....kana kung gi-Buy It Now nimo ang item sa ebay....kung wala, wa gyud ka mahimo....

please don't believe in crap what others say DON'T PAY USING G-CASH....g-cash is the most convenient payment method........DI LANG MAGPATAKA'G BAYAD labi pa kung bag-o pa.....

g-cash is my preferred way of payment........or bank or mlhuiller kwarta padala......

and don't believe in BS nga anha ra palit powersellers.......IF MAO NA IMO BUHATON, ADTO NALANG PALIT GAISANO METRO....YOU WILL NOT SAVE A DIME IN BUYING FROM MOST POWERSELLERS.....kay pare-pareha rana sila ug presyo, di paka hago huwat imo item....you can buy from at least a 10+positive AS A SELLER feedback....

it all boils down to POSITIVE FEEDBACK AS A SELLER nga ang buyers, dili pod tag-1 positive feedback......kay most likely, iyaha ranang mga accounts....

How to report GCash Scams

eBay member lost_serafin posted that Globe has issued an advisory for those who have been scammed via its GCash facility. This is the email that lost_serafin received from Globe’s Customer Service:

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Due to legal issues, there is a specific process we follow for G-cash complaints. For proper handling of such complaints, fill out the a Gcash complaint form. Please accomplish 2 copies of the form (one for the business center; one for the complainant). Submit one copy to any Globe Business center. Have the other copy notarized and return it to the business center within 48 hours from the date of complaint or the next business day if the complaint was filed on a weekend or a holiday.

You shall also be asked to present the following:

a.) valid ID
b.) G-Cash Acknowledgement receipt (GAR)
c.) G-Cash Service Form (GSF)
d.) Official receipt (if applicable)
e.) G-Cash SMS confirmation (for P2P transactions)

The business center shall then validate the contested transaction and shall do the necessary actions. Thank you.

TO ALL BUYERS, BEFORE you send GCash to your seller, try to visit the neareast Globe Buisness Center or call the GCash hotline (2882 for globe/TM cellphone or (02)7392882 for landline) and ask the CSR if the seller's GCASH registered number is KYC validated in their system. KYC stands for Know Your Customer. If yes, this means your seller's identity is already established by Globe, the chances of fraud/scam is minimal. However, if your seller's GCASH account is not yet KYC validated, chances of fraud/scam is HIGH.

there is actually a scheme before in globe gcash where you will pay only half of the amount and when you get the item, you will pay the other half.....

well, im not sure gyud ato kay murag stupid man gud gihapon so i didn't bother to read on....


@cliff_drew - before paying gcash, there is like a pontious pilate-type of disclaimer nga if you make payment, you declare that you know the person you are paying to......sadly, most people overlook that.....and quite frankly, wa tay mahimo kay gusto man gud ta mo-palit ug item nga gcash ang payment method.....so, when you sign it, you just said goodbye to your hard-earned money......without the assurance of the item to getting it to your hands.....except that's from a powerseller or a good-feedback seller.....

That's why ang pnaka-safest and g.advice jud natong mode of payment is through Paypal. Ky naa mn ta gurantee that we can get our payment back kung d nato makuha sa seller ang item na atong g-palit. You can go back and file an INR case sa imong seller or Item Not Received. Di man nimo makuha imong money back (since its not with Paypal)--at least naa na didto ang case, naa my limit ang number of cases against sa seller, eventually, pwede m-ban ia account, and m-detect nas eBay the next time he starts a new account. =)

Ang difference sa eBay philippines ug sa US ky dako2 jud... d kaau ta mu-care what mode of payment, sa ila didto, ila jung i-sigurado usa sila mu-make ug purchase.. nya big deal kaau na sa ila ang unsay Resolution sa ilang issues, tawag daun sa help line, sa buyers: INR (Item not received); SNAD (Specifically not as described) or kung sa sellers end: UPI (Unpaid Item) ug Cancel Transaction.

Kasuway mi palit dri sa eBay.ph, wala kaau big deal ang Paypal, maong nahadlok mi kaisa ato, maau gani ky ang seller, maau pd.. iang g.balik ang money through cc ky hurot n daw ang stocks sa D3100 na among g.palit, only to find out na ng.post xag new stocks with higher prices-- maong amo dayun g-negative feedback-kan! HAHAHHA. Nya ia mi g-unpaid item-man (Ky we didnt pay using paypal) man, so pwede xa k-click ato, but wa jd mi g-worry, pwede rato namo ipa-tang2 sa among mga kaila sa Emax! NYAHHAHAHA! pero xa, nka-NEGATIVE na jd xa namo! dah!

I agree kit. Also, sometimes we tend to get excited when buying stuffs online without keeping in mind the risks involved.

Just an advise to TS. Yaw nalang to cya gukda Sir. Dako pa imong magasto compare sa money nga nailad gikan nimo. Mahurot pa imong oras ug pasensya hinuwat sa feedback sa globe though wala jud sala ang globe ani kay first and foremost ni agree ka ilang policy sa giingon pa ni kit. Sa kadaghan na nga na scam karon, mao nay giingon nga charge to experience unless siguro kung dako2x jud.
