    helpful hints;
    - The average income of the debtor is 70K per month less of course Fixed expenses.
    - The subject individual is frugal.

Istoryan FA's/FE's I value your inputs on this matter.
    Hi,

If you dont mind me asking how did this person get in debt amounting to almost 500k? Is this debt availed to purchase an investment? to purchase a need (a house maybe)? or due to emergency situations?

Like you said, the subject is frugal. I think its also important to know the reason behind the debt in order for other istoryans to really understand and provide a good advise.

    Thanks!

bitaw, please tell us also how did he come to such debt. kay if ever gikan na sa credit card, 1 solution I can advise is to cut his card into 2 pieces...hehehe para di na ma pun-an pa ang utang...

Whats wrong with asking the reason of debt? Like I said, in my previous post... "If he/she doesnt mind, telling"... let her decide whether he/she is comfortable of telling it.

1st, you cant say its personal since most of the forumers here in istorya have no identity.
2nd, the TS is presenting the problem in a third person's perspective. It may or may not be him/her.
3rd, I will still stand in my early post, that in order to really provide a better solution to a problem is to fully understand the bigger picture. 500k in debt is no joke and it doesnt happen everyday.

Why? Are we asking the TS the name of the debtor? Still, personal matters have been disclosed.

Like the TS said, the subject is frugal. Hence, I believe this debt was availed not in vain.

The TS already shared a problem, why stop putting on the details that some istoryans would want to know in order to help?

NOTE: THERE ARE A LOT OF REASONS WHY A PERSON IS IN DEBT. THERE IS GOOD DEBT AND BAD DEBT. INVESTMENTS ARE GOOD DEBTS. CREDIT CARD DEBTS AND WHAT NOTS ARE BAD. THEN THERES DEBTS DUE TO BASIC NEEDS AND EMERGENCY SITUATIONS.

SO YOU SEE, DIFFERENT DEBTS NEEDS DIFFERENT APPROACH TO THE PROBLEM.

We cant just simply say - SELL YOUR STUFFS! Wow! thats helpful! --> havent you realized that the debtor already thought of that?

So TS, if you dont mind, why is this person in debt?

i second the motion. bitaw it would be wise to know more of what had happen why na-ingon ana kadako ang utang sa usa ka person. yet 70k a month is quite big enough sa kasagaran sa atoa. so ngano nka ing-ana man xa kadako ug utang.

be specific or be detailed pra masultian pud ka sa insakto nga solution gyud...

Yes you're right mga bro, netry ug invest ug property. It was actually I guess a good debt but due to the sudden turn of events it turn out to be a bad one. The subject commited herself in a financing scheme mao lage kani bitaw kulang sa proper guidance siguro. Then nekalit change of work ang subject for a higher income but nastopped ug mga almost 3 months iya kita due documentation formalities/paerworks etc. So, nesud ang debtor sa 5'6 scheme soon she realized that it she put herself into a debt trap. The intentions are good butthe outcome didn't turn out well.
Tips again bro, this debtor maayo motigom ug kwarta kung wala lang masipyat aneh. Nakatigom gud neh sya sauna ug 300K kaso kulang lage sa kinaadman on Financial literacy wala mainvest ug tarong gepakatug lang ang 3ooK for 3 years earning 300 pesos it's about 1% lang I guess.

para sko bay kay there's nothing wrong mn in owning a home at the same time an investment. Im sure tanan nangandoy makabalay sd and there is nothing wrong in living your dream. To own one is a milestone of achievement, of course ma proud jd ka na naa ta balay, so not necessarily na they think datu na cla. but there's always gonna be circumstances that's gonna put a dent in our plans but that doesn't give us the right to redicule his misfortunes.

Bro ask lang , what do u mean by parehas na unta ta ron, why Milyonaryo na bah kah?

Sorry to say but I am a bit skeptic on investing on liquid investments kay I knew some friends of mine who engaged themselves into this kind of stuff but they end up losing ther money in the end kay they are not that well educated on this plus lack of time pah to monitor.
