The Carbon Dating Scam
That's how they do it. They just lie.

suppose this Carbon Dating scam is a real SCAM, how does it prove the legitimacy of the Bible?

So essentially, carbon dating is only accurate if:
- The tested sample got its C14 from the atmosphere and not from underground (due to neutrons from decaying uranium)
- It is 60,000 years old or less (carbon dating becomes less accurate for specimens older than 60,000 years)
- The specimen still has carbon in it (dinosaur fossils have had all their carbon replaced by minerals, so carbon dating is useless for testing it)

However, carbon dating is not the only method of determining how old something is. In fact, there are quite a few ways:

1) Examining small magnetic particles because when they get laid down, they tend to be arranged in an order where they line up with the magnetic pole, and since we have a pretty good estimate of how often the poles flip, that gives a second way to estimate sedimentary layer ages, and it matches up with aging them based upon aging them based upon how long sedimentary layers above them take to form.

2) Radioactive potassium - Argon and Radioactive argon - non radioactive argon dating.

3) Sedimentary layers can be examined closely, finding the layers that appear over them and using knowledge of geological processes to get an estimate of how long sediments that formed on top of a layer in question took to form.

4) Thermoluminescence dating. Crystalline minerals can trap free ions that are created by exposure to light, giving a form of dating that works for up to ~150,000 years.

5) Plate tectonics. If fossils appear on either side of tectonic plates that are separated, they must have been put down when those plates were close, and tectonic plates move at a rate we can estimate.

6) Rehydroxylation dating. Clays absorb a lot of water and give it back off if they are heated above boiling, but they absorb water at steady rates, a sample of clay which has been exposed to fire (i.e. if ash is found with the sample of clay), you can examine how much water is in the sample and get an estimate up to 10,000 years.

So as you can see, even if a specimen is unable to be tested using carbon dating, there are numerous other methods we can use, either alone or in conjunction with each other.

The Book of Job is one of the oldest book and yet we ask ourselves how can he know that? Don't you think Job has some information leakage from the Creator himself? Say the Holy Spirit?
