Being poor is a mindset, I believe.
Being poor is a mindset, I believe.
Sakto ka bro... Filipinos must change in the simplest of ways first to be able to change this entire country... And also, there is a growing trend of "commission" in Filipinos.... It seems no one is exempted in asking for commisions from simple purhases.... I know many professional, decent-looking people who haggle for commisions with the purchases of their respective companies... one example is a teacher who bought supplies from us and asked us to overprice (AS IN DAKU PATONG) the items in the receipt...mucho stupido...we declined, and with it we lose a customer....Watch out for this behavior, if you are one of them, you have a conduct that is very unbecoming...sucks to be you... When we use poverty as an excuse to step on others, then we have already lost the dignity as a human person....
hmmm... I don't believe in this really... daghan party people sa kalibutan.
daghan pud kugihan sa pilipinas... ang real problem sa pinas jud kai population and education. if we can fix that, we will proliferate more than before.
problems pud sa some government teachers. dili na kaau updated sa panahon ug stubborn na kaau sa ilang old beliefs and won't embrace change and advancements. ang ending ang ma tudlo sa students kai outdated. big example is their pronunciation. most of the public students don't have the correct one.
Then who voted our government officials? if in your words "bobo" ang gobyerno, eh bakit binoto pa cla ng mga pinoy? So sino ang bobo sa palagay mo?
Sino ang bumoto sa mga "bobong" politiko?
There are public schools, but some filipinos choose not to go to school and work instead, kaya hindi mo masisi ang gobyerno kng illiterate cla.
Common sense!
Before even mentioning people living in squatters area, do you have any idea where those people came from?
- some of them are from provinces that went to the city to find gold... unprepared! meaning, no right background to help themselves look for a job.
- some of them are stoways (naglayas) from their family because of some reasons like, nag tanan, nabuntis ng maaga pinalayas ng pamilya
- some of them have criminal records thus hides in crowded places.
People must not always WAITS help from government, dapat may initiative tayo na bumangon sa sarili nating paa.
Check again, programang pangkabuhayan hinahanap mo? take a look around towns, provinces.
Its the filipinos that dont want government programs not the other way around.
Ang mayayaman lalong yumayaman because they work hard even they have enough, they are not lazy, they innovate, they compete, they WORK hard, they dont complain.
Pero ang mga wlang pera? Ayun tulog, reklamo ng reklamo, tamad!
People like you should be educated on what are luxury items! things like cellphone, cars, computers/laptops are luxury items. Therefore, dont even complain why Gasoline or cellphones, electronic devices and even text messages are expensive.
Its a luxury items, get it?
Study economics 101 first bro, then youll understand why prices go up and down.
WHo are you to assume na wlang ginagawa ang gobyerno? wla kang nakikita na aksyon?
Kasi hindi cla tumitingin sa ibang direksyon, the answer is always there and is very obvious.. If di ka umaasenso sa trabaho mo.. Mag negosyo!
Look on the bright side not always on the negative side.
Are you even aware of the Pantawid project by PGMA? or any government projects? I guess not since media
does not cover GOOD news report.

like what i said, who chooses the government? It is the people..
Alam naman pala natin na ireponsible ang pamahalaan, then why are we still voting the same people every election?
Its the mindset of the people, its the people who has the problem not the government..
If you even know what "government" means, then youll understand that the power of the government emences from the people. Its the people who choose the government, its the people who gives the power to the government, its the people who comprise our country. The people are the majority not the government.
Take a look at Japan, People dont care about politics, as they say, "Let the politics be handled by politician"
Japanese follow laws to the last letter, japanese care and love thier country that even when they see you throw away garbage on the street then they will call your attention or report you..
Negative and pessimistic mindset by the people(like the mindset of the OP), brings this country down.
Bad media brings this country down.
lastly, submission that our country has no chance to rise, brings this country down.
Both have good points of views. depende ra ni nato unsaon nato pagsabot. lisod man jud nato ma discuss tanan diri kay lisod man jud pagtransfer sa tanan natong ideas. I hope di lang ta maglalis diri for no reason. I hope we can make this thread informative. IMHO, i agree on both of you. We are to blame not only the people but also the gov't why we are who we are today. the Gov't should work hard to change our nation while the people should work harder to improve themselves. We should not blame the gov't why we are poor, instead, we should work harder. But in saying this, It is still the GOv'ts obligation to improve our nation. although sakto nga di nato i blame ang gov't why pordoy ta, but i would agree nga SILA jud ang dapat iblame why walay mga balaod gihimo para maimprove ta. THey took an oath to serve the people. sometimes I wonder, Maybe we are living in a RAT race. we can't tell where the problem started. is it really the Gov'ts fault or is it Ours? share pamo guys para lingaw ta diri.
IMO, one of the reason why we are not progressive is, most of us, lacks discipline. Most of us don't love our country. Most of us have the attitude "what can the country do for me instead of what can i do to my county" - it is a "me first before others" attitude.
If we hope for a change - a progressive Philippines, then love our country and do what you can for our country in big things or in small things.
It doesn't help if all we do is point and blame but do nothing ourselves.
noy.juan@ i like what your father teach you..
"DONT WORK FOR MONEY, LET MONEY WORK FOR YOU!, THIS IS HOW WINNER DOES IT"
