How did you get one? Was there a registration fee? I'm not really a photographer, but I want a pass just so I can go near the balloons.

Good luck guys..if i had just read this trip earlier i would push through, just so sad that i was not able to get pass just like "the monk3y" coz my second prob also is what to ride from naia to clark...huh!...better luck next time.

these one is really informative...but for me my plan to stay if i push through is at REd Tulip Hotel..i don't which is much nearer coz s per my friend say you have to consider the distance of your hotel coz in the dawn it's hard to find transpo.

Finally decided on staying in Angeles overnight on Saturday then going back to Manila on Sunday afternoon. I figured, why not try out the entertainment district in Angeles? It is famous after all for its booming nightlife scene.

I googled Red Tulip Hotel and it's also near Fields Ave. in Balibago, Angeles. My cousin also told me that transportation from Balibago to Clark might become a problem, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there. If worse comes to worst, maybe we'll try hitchhiking.

But a hot air balloon festival would need a really, really large area with unobstructed airspace. The best choice for the venue would have to be Clark Freeport Zone, since it used to be an airbase. And I think there are a lot of enthusiasts in Cebu. After all, there are a number of aeronautical schools in Cebu.

But hey, I'm also keeping my fingers crossed that one day, Cebu might host an event like this.
