haha. di mada sa cebu brad. wala tay lugar diri. hehe. di ka nahan mu adto?
witnessed it 3 successive years and its always fun. this time though I'm missin it by purpose as western mindanao beckons.
tips:
be there early, balloon flights are not pegged to time but wind and sunrise
sunblock sunblock sunblock kay its an open field
water (though there are a lot for sale)
food cuz the spectacles continue even at noon (daghan pud tienda though)
batteries and memories - its a photo/video op from sunrise to sundown
my favourite: balloon-bursting competition - an exciting extravagance!
- these are airplanes chasing and bursting yellow rubber balloons (not the hot-air balloons) with just their propellers as both fly in mid-air!

@pinoytraveler: Thanks for the tips. I might go there so I'll keep those in mind. P.S. Where in Western Mindanao are you going? I'm originally from Zamboanga del Sur.

HAHA. Okay rana brad. Naa man sad lain ikahambug ang Cebu. OT: Naa baya bago na mall itukod ang ayala, dubbed as the MOST LUXURIOUS MALL in the Philippines. Kana, adto ta ana. Experience na nga nindut.
Kita-kits, bro! Haha
@khentoii: I just read on a travel blog (dated 2009) that "hot air balloon flight usually costs 150 USD or its Philippine Peso equivalent per person and this may last from 30-45 minutes to an hour depending on the wind conditions". So yeah, maybe it costs around that much.
I'm planning on going on the last day. I'm still researching on which bus to ride to get to Angeles from Manila. Do you know if there are early morning bus trips to Angeles? I want to be at the venue early, like 5am.
