I think tungod kay nauna ug introduce ang Windows so mas anad ang mga tawo mogamit mao they find it hard using other O.S. like linux. Plus since daghan nagwindows if magpalahi ka like linux naa possibility na naa uban applications dili mo-work sa imo O.S. like the MS Applications.

tungod sa na una ug introduce ang windows sa imo.. and very well na kaayo ka mo gamit sa application.. mao mag lisod ka ug adopt sa lain OS.. it's true that you'll have hard time using other distro..
But if your eager to learn and relating something from windows, for example.. how to run a program like in windows we just use window+R while in ubuntu is alt F2 ...

relating something from your experience to other distribution can boost up your knowledge in using other distro.. not just linux but even Mac...

like in the early year 2000 nag dominant ang nokia phones.. then mga tao na get use sa keypad sa nokia.. and here comes erricson lisod kaayo ang keypad but still we learn to adopt and na use to ra pud..

there is no wrong if they feel that windows is user friendly, it's because they are use to it.. people may say mac is user friendly because they were mac users and never been using other os before.

maybe a decade from now, when magkatiguwang na ang new generation who are more familiar with linux, mas daghan na mag linux, kay maanad naman ang kids.

I find it really funny when someone tells me they will switch to Linux, nya maglisod man lang gani sabot ug instructions on how to get the system info using right-click, my computer, and properties.

I havent used Mac, but most say its user friendly. Drawback lang sa Mac, they are marketing it for the upper class, mao mahal. Nya gamay ra apps. If you like games, molaos nalang tingali ang game wa pay Mac version.

But I also find it funny when people claim, Mac is secure and virus free

I have used the 3 OSes, so far, I like linux, 2nd : Windows, 3rd: MAC.
MAC and Linux are secure enough but not virus free..

for a gamer: go for windows
for work/girl/gay: go for mac

contrary daghan na company nag gamit ug mac karon as their workstation... kay idiot proof... security and easy to maintain... those who said mac is hard are stupid.... drag and drop naman ang mac lisod na noon... geez....

ive work with win7 and OSX10.5 (wala pakoy snow)...."SIDE-BY-SIDE" ang win7 mag BSOD 5x times a day pero ang mac straight 2 days way palong... solid gihapon...

mac is for serious computer user and this is what should personal computer be...
windows... well for people not that serious (maybe some but not all)

ang advantage lang sa windows is "Super-User-Friendly" ika nga idiot proof 100% kay ang mac is 80% raman...

but the rest... is mac/linux... anyway mac is still a linux...
