thats too proximate - daughter to sire or son to dam. most responsible breeders shun that practice. some though resort to it for several reasons, two of which are - (1) if they are going after a certain (excellent) trait that they want to reproduce in the coming generations; or (2) if the breeder have no other sire in his kennel and he needs to produce pups for economic reasons, which is sadly, the more usual reason.

me, personally, i will NEVER do that. what for? unless i have the best specimen on the planet... daghan kaayong iro sa kalibutan, ngano man ibalik pa man nato sa iya kaugalingong amahan ang ato iro? pa-stud na lang sa mas maayo nga specimen para improvement pod.

I do get what you are trying to say thats why I explained to you ngano ingon ana but it took me 3 replies and still you dont get it and that concludes na ga libog ka .

You dont have to be sorry for following the discussion , 1 way or the other , I knew you learned something out of BREEDING RESPONSIBLY . Ang ako lang , dont mislead readers though you are stating it in a good faith fashion way , gi explainan na gani ka why its like that , mo insist man jud ka .

Magdepende na if ang kana cla na line is free from genetic problems and cleared from the diseases so its OK to inbreed pero if ur not sure about their genetic problems sa iya ancestors I would not suggest to inbreed niya. Try to look for other prospect stud.

father-daughter / son-mother is too proximate for me.
if ever mag inbreeding ko, the most i could go is half-bro & half sis tingali
thats if really im going after a certain trait sa ana nga line...
aside from that, i wouldnt experiment on that.
its hard kay most of the time, faulted man na kay ang negative traits mag replicate man
unya if faulted ang gawas, unsaon man nato ang mga puppies? luoy lang diba?

Yeah your entitled to ur own thoughts and opinion but in a right way nga it will help others since this thread gives the newbies tips on selling/buying and breeding dogs.

Hope nakasabot ka sa amo point sad. Kay cge mi explain nmo why we used that sentence but u seem ikaw wla ka get sa point about that phrase na "a dog w/o papers is good as nothing". Yeah ur educated all ur life but u seem wla na educate about breeding dogs
