your view upon dogs should be like people not based on the papers they have or they don't have..after all, they are man's best friend..

Naa ko question nmo @ karen. U said u have pure breed dogs, do u breed them? Are they on their breed standards? What are the reasons why u want to breed ur dog? Do u sell the pups? If u read the whole thread the papers is really important especially when u plan to breed unless for pet lng imo dogs and not for breeding then no need for the papers.Because when u breed the dogs ur aiming for the betterment of the breed or better quality breed not to worst the breed thats why we condemn as much as possible kato dogs w/o papers or mix breed since they are being breed to worsen the breed and besides wla breed standard ang mga mix breed dogs mau na dili gyud na sila angay e breed.

what we have emphasized here is that dogs without pedigree papers are "considered" as not pure or mixed. but nobody here encouraged or said nga if dili pure imu dog kay you should not love them anymore. we are all dog lovers here and thus we dont discriminate against them (dogs). we discriminate against bad practices.

to emphasize to you the whole context of things:

1) the love of dogs is distinct and separate from the issue of pure breed or mixed ownership. love of dogs transcends beyond pure or mixed or local;

2) when we talk about breeding, we frown on some breeding practices where the business side is being given more emphasis rather than improvement of breed... which if you think about it, is anchored on our basic love of our dogs' breed;

3) "sa mga dog lovers nga naay mga pets na without papers, it's like saying their pets are good as nothing..." excuse us, but you dont have the right to put words (or thoughts) into our mouths (or minds). if you havent read it here, that means we dont say it or even thought about it; you are accusing us of bias, but for chrissake, accuse us of something "tangible", meaning you have proof that we actually said it... not accuse us by mere perception;

4) "if you get mad because of this, so be it..this is my opinion and i'm entitled to it..they don't call this 'pet discussion' for nothing..." sure, you are entitled to your own opinion... but please have that opinion of yours at least anchored on a more solid ground para dili huyang kaayo, ok?

i agree with everything you said about buying and selling puppies..but i hate when you said dogs without papers are good as nothing when talking about quality(i rarely use the word hate)..wa ko maigo ky puro pure breed akng mga iro pro when buying a puppy for you to have as a pet and part of your family, pure breed dogs are an advantage in built, coat, drive, etc but there is also no harm in buying dogs without papers(as long as sakto rapd sa price), there are no quality or commonplace dogs, there are no good or bad dogs either, there are only experienced and inexperienced breeders..doesn't matter if your dog is worth 40k with papers or if you have an aspin, if not properly socialized and trained as a puppy, your golden retriever or labrador retriever will bite..awa gd nang mga aspin ga suroy2 lng sa dalan, d man gni na mamaak or mu aw-aw ug agi.an2 nimu..mas mamaak pa cguru na inyong mga chow2 nga tag 30k!!! mka pili d.i ka sa imong mga igsoun ug bati ug nawng good as nothing nlng na cla maikog ka sa mga dog lovers nga walay pili nga bisag aspin dawaton..or sa mga dog lovers nga naay mga pets na without papers, it's like saying their pets are good as nothing..maybe you are priviledged with wealth na mka afford ka but others are not..so next time, choose your words wisely..

This thread is about BREEDING and how to get the best out of it as the SELLER and the BUYER because in our very own forums , the BUY and SELL SECTION for PETS , pwerting daghana ug PUPPY MILLERS diha taking advantage of people who are " DOG LOVERS " .

Dog owners who has dogs that are not PEDIGREED are not enncouraged to BREED their dogs . The very reason why we breed dogs ? That is to improve the BREED by careful selection of the bloodline . How do you know the BLOODLINES ? You got to have that pedigree .

when u say quality @ karen this dog/puppy confronts the breed standard and they can be breed,in w/c the mixed breeds and dogs w/o papers dont belong to this term na quality. Mau btaw na ideally the pet ones are to be spayed and neutered kay for family companion ra cla or for pets lng and not for breeding. Wala man nakiglalis nmo about being a dog lover since all of us here are dogs lovers but we just want to emphasize the right way/ethical way or being a responsible dog lovers in terms of selling/buying and breeding dogs. I myself kay guilty ani nga ako mga istorya but its not an end pa naman to start all over again and to be a better dog lover/dog breeder

We know you are educated all your life but I am pretty sure not about BREEDING so allow us to educate you otherwise you have to stop subscribing in the thread .

In breeding you only come up with 2 things . A PET QUALITY and a SHOW QUALITY . Regardless if that dog came from a superb bloodline , naay imperfections gihapon na that will turn out to be just PET QUALITY . Now that is in the side of a dog that is PEDIGREED , how much more sa wala ?

You did not get the point of the statement "dogs without papers are good as nothing" . Like I said , that was directed to the BREEDING issue . Kung ikaw wala ka nag breed , you should not be affected on this statement . That was directed to those who are PUPPY MILLERS and people who makes profit out of BREEDING the dogs IRRESPONSIBLY .

3. Go for pedigreed dogs as much as possible , refer to number 2 . A dog that is pedigreed is your insurance knowing your dog is of PURE BREED . Many agrees with me but a lot will be offended but the fact needs to be told , a dog that has no papers is as good as nothing when we talk about quality .

totaly agree ko ani ^^
simple example lng.. what ever u do how ever u sell a pure breed shitzu nga with out papers. how ever u claim nga campion in what or where. d ka maka prove.^^ even its existence nga shitzu na imu dog u still can prove it. ^^

so as a responsible breeder // buyer// or sellers. dogs with out papers are not that woth it.
because you still spend the same amount of money still the same amount of time.^^
