Help: External USB Mobile hard disk problem. Cant be detected by the computer

i have mobile hard disk with enclosure. it was detected in my system says " New found hardware....installed and ready to use". pero dili nako makita sa my computer. i tried using different enclosure and its the same.i have another mobile hdd thats works fine with my enclosure. my mobile hd is 120GB.pls tabang kong unsaon ni paghilot bro..tnx

Hi guys, would really appreciate ur help with this.

i have a mobile hard disk, on a USB Enclosure.

My problem is that when i connect this to the PC, the PC cant detect the hard disk.

The PC can only detect it on the task bar, giving the icon "safely remove hard drive"

i tried changing the drive letter, but it is not detected by the computer management program.

i fear that the hard disk might be damaged.


my Question is:
1. Any suggestion on what i can do about this?

2. Is this a Hard disk problem? (tried changing enclosure but wala gihapon)

3. (most important) Can you recommend any store to help with the retrieval of my data?

Hi first time nako diri.. naa koy western digital 1TB hard drive. gihimo nakong 2 partition gamit ang paragon partition. Noong sinaksak ko sa ibang computer na may partition magic nakainstall bigla nlng may lumabas na ang sabi "your hard drive has an error, please click this to repair it" at giclick nako at in that moment gumagana pa nman sya pero noong tinanggal ko at pinasok ulit ayaw na mabasa ang external hard drive.

pag isaksak nako sa computer dili sya mag-autorun at di rin sya makikita sa my computer pero sa safely remove nakikita sya. nagrarun nman sya ung ilaw nya nagbiblink at running ung disk nya. ang isang problema prang naghahang ang computer ko pra bang may mga application na nagstop kung nakasaksak tong external hard drive na to. At habang nakasaksak to hindi na nagshashutdown ang computer ko at nakikita lng sa screen ay "shutting down" pero hangang doon lang di sya namamatay. For starting the computer naman di rin sya nagstart kung nakasaksak to sa USB naghahang din.

common issue ni cya sa mga external hdd. one cause is the usb cable. if duha kabuok usb cable nga padong sa pc ang duha ang itaod. 2nd is kung mo detect then dli ghapon makita usually na corrupt ang partition ana... you need to go to device manager then create a new drive letter sa imong harddrive. last part if imong external mag kuto2x na ug tingog... im sure its hopeless...
