Most Bisrock bands sound like combo-lata because of the quality of the recording. The band members (usually college students, hence no income yet) don't have enough money to go to a high-end recording studio. So they have to make do with what they can afford, which is of crappy quality.

That radio station that played Bisrock, what was its name again? I understand it's no longer on air?

Though I wasn't a listener of that staion nor a fan of Bisrock, I think it's a bit sad that it's gone since, for all its flaws, it served as a stepping stone for Cebuano bands. No matter how awful sounding a band is, I believe there's always room for improvement.

When you said "may gani nawala to na station", weren't you being thankful?
Correct me if I'm wrong: "Maayo gani" means "It's a good thing" which implies that you were thankful.
