one can be a powerlifter while being a bodybuilder. it still takes years of constant practice to master and have the required strength those exercises you mentioned.

kung alsa ka dako diretso then walay siguro adto ka apil sa mga powerlifting funnies video's sa youtube, hehehe....

hi guys im new here, my name is fred. i workout at a lot of gyms now. if asa lang madoul sa work. i do leg works on the gym near our place. BODYROCK (mambaling) i like the place since its hardcore. SUnday morning 7 a.m when no one else is around. Not to mention the music (radio nga gubaon the usual sunday morning mass ang patukar sa tigbantay.haha). I like also their leg press machine (length sa ilang machine matches very much with my leg length) which i can only do currently 910 lbs for 20 full reps (thighs touching the chest). Leg extensions supersetted by leg curls followed by leg presses and squats (work up to 240 lbs x 8 full reps parallel form) followed by stiff legged deadlifts and light hack squats. I finish it off with walking lunges and pullovers just to stretch the rib cage from the intense heavylifting . I still got a smooth look but i tend to lower my body fat to less than 10%. I never stopped since i started 5 years ago. I can only incline bench 170lbs unassisted for 6 reps. I also do occassional deadlifts 240 lbs. using a belt and straps. My stats are arms: 15" only waist is 31 and quads are 24" calves only 14.5". Dumbell shoulder press 120lbs max lang (60lb dumbell each arm and 90deg. bench to lean on). I know i have slow gains compared to people with good genetic make-up. But that didnt stop me from lifting. Hinay2x lang gud ta...dili bitaw ni lumba. What's important is that you can walk out from the gym floor injury free. Sayang rana bug.at kaau atong gipang-alsa pero mga bali na diay atong joints.haha. cheers...
