Bodyfat 27.4%(obese, my goal is 15% or lower. will take another measurement maybe next week or January na tingali) <

hehehe.. ayaw ka shy..pero naa ra na nimo if mo post pud ka or dili.. hahaha.. mas dako pa gali ma lift ni goryo kai sa nako..

slow gud na from the beginning like I remember doing my first bench press it was only 60lbs.
and when I try to push it to 80lbs. na lata gud ko, and it happened again when I tried 100lbs.

It looks and feel cool when you lift heavy weights at the gym but for me what is important is form... I'd rather lift light with correct form than lifting heavy with wrong form.

the new motto should be "slow but sure" not "no pain, no gain"

OT: it really depends sa goal nimo... lower reps(4~6 reps) means more strength but less endurance(mo burot gud ka ani) and higher reps(15~25) means less strength and more endurance(think of those long distance runner)...

moderate low(a little more power) reps(8~12 reps) or moderate high(a little more endurance) reps (12~15) gives you best of both worlds. IMO this is the best because it promotes "functional strength" and also sakto ra ang size and power...

of course reps alone won't do work with out the right weight.. it's like spoon and fork.

too much weight and high reps might cause major/serious damages to the muscles... dangerous.. and too light and little rep.. well.. you might as not lift at all cause there's very little or no effect kai dili ma challenge imong muscles...
