Everyone is pulling in different directions; there's no teamwork among our leaders. The good initiatives of the executive are subjected to endless investigations for the sake of political ambitions.

bai, id like to comment on what you post, most people especially the poor one, they blame the government on whats happening to them, actually its not the government reponsibility to make us rich, its our responsiblity to make ourself prosperous and be a blessing to others

with regards to the people in government, this people got into corruption because they depend on their salary to alleviate themselves from poverty, if this people will only learn how to be in business or entrepreneurship like the government in singapore, this people will not be in corrupt business.

well, lack of discipline is part of the reasons, for me its the lack financial education, filipinos are not used to talk about money issues, on how to deal money problems, they are businessman and investors helping people be literate finacially like this one held in cebu:

Well according to Jaime Zobel De Ayala's speech in the last Ad Congress... The foreign investors and businessmen's main problem with the Philippines is not corruption or political instability but the Filipinos' work ethic... According to him Filipinos are known to call in sick for the shallowest of reasons, cge lang ug absent .. Filipinos are the epitome of the saying "While the cat is away the mouse will play", which means Filipinos need to be constantly supervised in order to work, kinahanglan bantayan gyud.... Filipinos, time management and efficiency does not belong in the same sentence...

As for me, I have always believed that corruption is not the disease but a symptom.... Laziness is the disease... Ganahan dayun mo asenso without sweating it, mao na mangawat na lng, mangurakot. People will always say na walay motivation ang Pinoy kay gamay ra sweldo, puol ang trabaho, walay snacks, nag-ulan, nimahal ang softdrinks blah blah blah, but I believe that this, as usual, is just an excuse... If there is one thing Filipinos have mastered, then it is the mastery of making up excuses... Cge lng ta himo ug excuse bsag asa... Cge lang naay i-blame.... Thats why I admire Ayala's frankness... Kay puol na paminawon ang mga businessmen na keynote speakers who constantly "patronize us"... Telling us hardworking kuno kaayo ta, nindot kuno kaayo ang Filipino spirit, that we are well respected and praised all over the world (really?
