kids should not be compared to adults.
As the editorial said, parent-child bonding cannot be regulated and surely it does not happen on weekends only.
    If it happens, it happens.
If it does not, it does not happen.

Well, it really depends baya sad.. We have also to consider the parent's involvement with their kid's education. Bonding can happen at anytime, any place. If the parent's are really involved with their kid's education, they can help out when they are doing their homeworks, projects, preparing for an exam, reading and even discussing current issues or literary works and in effect bond with them.

supak ko ani nga policy. kids need to have that sense of responsibility while naa pa sila sa elem and highschool level. to prepare them sa kung unsa may i-pursue nila nga career in the near future.

bonding AND homework can be done at the same time. if ang parent mag-monitor sa bata kung sakto ba iyang homework, and ma-enjoy nila ang time, di ba nagbonding na sila? and putting bonding and homework together sounds like QUALITY TIME to me.

But the most effective bonding is enjoying the day with each
other having some fun, and of course it will happen when they
all the free time to share with,
not thinking about what to answer on assignments and the fatigue
    from a long days work...etc

    Yup you got a point,
but I do believe that weekends should be entittled to a family as a day
of enjoyment and carefree. No tensions and to think about whatsoever
thus making the bonding more effective.
