sounds good to be true. the fact we cant do it with a centralized government what more in a decentralized one. many complaint that a bulk of our tax money goes to Manila and yet we can still see poverty in manila.

i admire your dedication with you advocacy but you are just the same as those promising politician who just sugar coat things and promise everything will run smoothly. what assurance that your call or teachings of federalism will be fair that you guys will also discuss about the disadvantages of it too. you do know government maintenance will be a lot more expensive than what we got today not counting the billions of peso to initialize federalism.

Never mind the cost as long as it comes back a hundred folds. Disadvantages is nothing compared to the advantages of federalism. You are just too pessimistic Romeojin. Countryside development is one concept of federalism.

Easily said than done it isnt being pessimism im just being cautious. you should put your optimism to real life scenario why not start a business and tell me where your optimism would lead you. put the money where your mouth is.. and maybe you will stop demanding a change to federalism. of course in real life there will always be a problem... if you reason it will lead to country side development, but in exchange for inefficiency and downgrade of our capital city Manila cause of their funds are cut.

take a look now, the people optimism on an inferior president.

@BIGMAN - you talk big as if your doing anything yourself. change!? take a damn good look at your breatheren for 50 years they did nothing back walk backwards while singing songs of democracy idiots!. And you want me to give a sure example that will change this country here: Burn the country to the ground! government included, adopt communism and follow the steps of Deng Zhao Peng for economic reforms. call it a reset plan, and YES this country is utterly hopeless no matter what you do, everything you anyone does is just irrelivant at this point why? cuz the majority of the masses which IS the country is superbly stupid! thats a fact!

heres a good example, people voted for noyX2 because his mother is Cory, HELLO O_o now that he is president those that voted for him is now critizing him of being impotent, while if you think about it how long has he been president again hello. satX2 lang sigi dli gyud mu tanaw og padayun, dli maningkamot, dli willing mu learn og bag.o mao nang primary batasan sa mga pinoy. this is fact walay excempt ani sa batasan except for some chosen few nga katong ni asenso gyud.

I'm being frank, I live in this country also and a Filipino, but truth be told, BATI gyud kaayo ang culture sa taw diri, murag mga boang nga naka buhi ba gikan sa rule sa espanyol, dli mu think ahead and plan ahead for the future. to live and eat for the day mao ra gyud. saon.

The REAL solution here is to press the RESET button. Reboot the system. Flush the memory.
"Ang mga batan-on ang atong paglaum." Still there's hope,,,, but slim. They key here is to raised the youths in such a way that we don't pollute their minds. And let them take over as leaders of this country. That could be the way.

Usahay manighupaw na lang ta kay ang atong pakigbisog dili mo prosper kay ang kadaghanan dili man mo duyog sa atong paningkamot. Kalimtan na lang nato ni. Dili pwede nato pas-anon ang kalibutan. Sayang. Life is so short, even if we call this as a "sick system", still we can enjoy something out of life here. Enjoy while there is life.

mao na ang case karon sa mga new officials, tarung sila pero pag apply sa government office after a month nang resign, it doesnt matter if dli ka corrupt, nig sulod nimo sa system, where naa patu ang mga old dogs and thier influence ma corrupt gyud ka. thats why is say e purge gyud ang tanan, like what that little girl say sa US during an interview (forgot the name dugay na kaayo, Bush Era i think) "get rid of everyone in the system especially the old ones" then put in the new ones.

mao rasad c NoyX2 karon, tarung cgruo cya and idealistic for the future, pero ang naka lingko sa postions sa government body? and influence ni Arroyo dli gyud na ma wala.

Federal system for success? simbako gyud ni. kung ma Federal ang pinas one after another mu declare og independence ang mga satelite provinces labi na ang tanaw nila sa main government corrupt ang resulta civil war.
