They will file a bill for a federal Philippines. Or we can nominate one leader to run for President bringing our advocacy which is federalism. Take note ha, we already have the majority of the Filipinos who fully understand our advocacy. That's the time nga ma federal na ang Philipines.
Another party list group? no thnx. bai the party list is supposed to be intended for marginal groups, e.g. very poor people, but by some twist in interpretation at the S.C. they opened it up to all sorts of parties. There's already a few people like pimentel who are gunning for federalism why not help these people instead.

I see. This is not happening sooner. But atleast, we are in the right track with your advocacy.

Just my two cents, that you might consider:

An example, ang usa ka kahoy kung imo bawgon ug diretso, ma bali kini. Para dili ma bali, kinahanglan imong hinayhinayon ug bawg. Same applies to this case.

My suggestion is: how about switching to federalism gradually? Those regions/provinces that can stand at their own already, pwede na sila mo assume full government of their own. While kato dili pa, agakon pa to sa central government until maka barog na sila sa ilang kaugalingon. Para dili ma bali ang kahoy.

You know what RMK711, before we are richer than Malaysia and Thailand. Now they had surpassed us because of sound economic policies, better infrastructure and good governance. That's what we need to do here in the country.

During the 1997 Asian Economic Crisis, Thailand was badly hit with it. Their economy was really really down. Majority of Thailanders lost their job. What the government do? They hired those people. They borrowed money from Worldbank and/or IMF. They build infrastructure, efficient road network, economic zones, power lines, telecommunications. All the pillars of developments, they had prepared while crisis is on going. Some officials are promoting the country to attract investors. After all infrastructures was done, investors flock to Thailand to do business there. And they recovered from that economic downturn. Same thing happens to Malaysia.

What the Philipines did? We voted Erap as our President in 1998 despite of the economic crisis Asian experienced during that time. Then, we suffered the results of ignorance of the majority of the Filipinos.

+1. The best thing to do is to stay away from congress or senate. This sounds ironic, but this must be observed. To keep your advocacy always genuine. Mahugawan ang inyong maayong panglantaw kung mo duwa mo sa hugaw nga politika. Kung naa na nya mo seat sa congress, the story maybe a whole lot different.

Yah, got your point here. But your concern is just a little problem. Based on Sen. Pimentel's proposal, states will be done by region to help those who can't stand yet on their own. I guess the country has 17 regions, so, that would 17 states. They will work together to develop their state. Example, region 7 which is composed of Cebu, Bohol, Negros and Siquijor. This is one state and will work hand in hand.

Part list is just of the options RMK. Which of those options stated you like.

Malaysia is the way it is mostly because of mahatir, if u ever heard the guy speak u'll know how smart he is, even though he is a racist he cares about his people a lot. malaysia is also lucky because it was a british colony, and they retained almost all the laws of their colonizers, including federalism. i dont think we can transition to federalism at all with the current leadership, you really need a dictatorship to transition to this system esp here in asia where most politicians just like to grandstand and look after their own interest. how can federalism pass when most senators and even the president stand to lose power, they will never support it. take a look at noynoy he even increased the pork barrel, that shows you how addicted these people are to money and power, no matter how they pretend they aren't.

Party list is just one of the options.

I heard about him. But we are richer than Malaysia before RMK. Before they prosper, Malaysia has undergone a series of bloody revolution. We are not in a hurry for a federal government. I know it can't be done hurriedly.

We can do it bro. It is a just a matter of correct sourcing and applications of funds. Funds that would go to the right projects. Projects that are job and income generating.
