    This is what they explained:

The Central Government (Manila) does not want to let go of Mindanao and other cities because Luzon lacks a lot of resources to stand on its own... Based on the national budget, more than 50% is allotted to Luzon based projects while Visayas and Mindanao share the rest of the 50%.

If federalism is approved, a state's budget is its own. The state will only remit a portion the revenue coming from taxes and this will cripple the central government. It is going to be like committing suicide for them to let go.

So, how can we change our government?

There are only two ways possible...
1.) Officials will start think of other people rather than their own pockets (this is impossible)
2.) Civil War (messy, but effective)

At present, Luzon already have a lot of business establishments. They earned billions from those. During the change, they will retain all of it. How can they not stand on their own?

Because they are used to our subsidies and have become lazy and stupid by being dependent on our taxes

uyon ko aning Federalism kay tungod sa land area sa pinas. archipelagic ta so kinahanglan pata mu gasto sa transportation to give the basic of services.

ngano mo worry man mo nga kadto nga mga pobre nga states dili mo lambo? for sure kadto mga gipang elect sa mga tawo, mangita jud ug paagi mu lambo ila lugar. kung mangorakot sila aw klaro na kaayo imo bisyo. dali ra kaayo tikluon ang mga kurakot. ang judgement diha ra sa lugar ninyo. dili na ipadala pa sa manila nga "hoy si cong. boang nangorakot. amo ikiha." that just takes time..... in other words, RED TAPE! hasol!

nganu ikompara man ang pinas sa singapore nga ka gamatitoy anang singapore. plus whole land mana sila. di mana sila isla2. kalahi ra sa pilipinas. for sure mas dali jud mu prosper ang lugar kung pundok kaysa katag. ka simple ra ana sabton oi. think people think...

ug sa kadtong mu ingun nga federal govt ta pero with same old corrupt leaders nya wa ghapon ayo, ayaw mo sulti ana. kay kung ang pamaagi sa gobyerno lahi na, for sure ang mga politiko mag usab nana sa ila kina iya. para nila maka ingun sila "hala, lahi na raba ang systema sa gobyerno. di nako magpataka ani ug gamit sa kwarta uy. LAHI RABA TO AKO NA ANDAN SAUNA." gets ninyo? ang politiko dili na mubuhat ug mga "traditional politics" kay lahi na ang pamaagi. di man parehas sauna nga maghuwat lang sa pork barrel.. kay mao may na andan. in short, expert na sila mu manipulate sa funds kay "dating gawi" man... simple ra jud kaayo tanan. its just that you have to open and broaden your mind.

You are a hopeless, close minded person Wikki. Think out of the box, explore ideas. Ganahan lang ka nga mao lang gihapon ang Pinas. When in fact we can do something to make change. Change is the only permanent in this world. It is here to stay. Read bro, read.
