Rapid Strap FastenR is very different from the Q-strap plate. more surface area to stick to with the Q strap design and you can still attach tripod quick release plate even with the Q-strap unlike the Rapid Strap.

qstrap is 1/3 to 1/4 the price of rstrap yet both using the same principle and idea...

i have a QStrap, but i stopped using it kay naay times nga ma-luag ang connection
between the plate & camera base. i double check & tighten the plate everytime i go
for out for a shoot just to make sure. but naa lang to time nga gamay na lang gyud
kulang para matagak ang cam kay na loosen ang connection. maayu na lang kabantay ko. *whew.

btw, if your often shoot with a tripod, this strap may not be a good idea.

but lingaw baya unta cya nga strap. very convenient. but mao lang jud ako problem..

    **based lang ni from experience.

    my two cents.

I'm using my Q-strap most of the time and its attached to the my battery pack (MB-10). I have no problems with it.

Take note I'm using my manfrotto quick release plate instead of Q-strap plate cause I don't have to worry about to take it out again when I use my Mono or tripod.

I agree with Mark the Q-strap is great most of the time but for studio I would also consider the spider holster.

For me Q-strap ease my shoot & i don't need to worry for my lens, what i've done is just i mounted a back unlocking small carabiner from the body to the strap so if the q-strap that is attach to the lens would loosen at least i still have a back lock...works great but still getting used to it's comfort.
