I don't know how people would put it. Sad to say many Catholics are shaky about their belief in the Church and in God. ang ending, ang taw maoy sukdanan kung padayonon ba nila ang ilang giapilan nga relihiyon.


I'm not against those who have transferred religions. This goes out to those who are Catholics but are "shaky" or "jam2" na lang sa pagka Katoliko.

Like for example, how would you expect to be faithful if you evade going to Masses, attending church traditions, reading the Bible, and the like?

Check your influences. What kind of people do you hang out with? I'm not trying to judge your friends, but maybe usa na sa mga rason nga ma out of focus ka sa pagka Katoliko.

What books do you read? Kung himasa kaayo kag books nga mu contradict sa mga teaching sa simbahan, chances are, mapareha ka nila.

Who do you listen to? As I have been told, you become who you listen to. Tuod naay mandaot bisag asa, nay buhatan tag daotan, naay mangbrainwash nato, naay tiunan pa gani ta sa atong tinuohan.

But we decide who we want to become. It's not what other people say about God, it's what YOU say about Him.

Unsa gud tawn nang 'Sakto sila in their own way'.. pag shure kunu dha. Sakto gani, sakto jud na. di kay sakto in their own way...isa ra baya ang truth, so if sakto, sakto - if sayop sayop. so kung sakto ang uban religion para nimu - So kana imu religion karun is SAYOP na.. hehe

I agree to this bro. I'm not converted but I'm not practicing catholicism anymore because of the same reasons you've cited. MY folks and other relatives dislike the way I reacted and pray... Doing the sign of the cross is "a must" to them and I don't do that whenever I'm asked to pray on special occasions.

Idolatry is worshiping graven images... ask any catholic, bisan ang wa naka graduate sa elementary kung naga-worship ba sila sa images of Jesus, B.V. Mary or saints. Pero no need to ask kay you will never believe what Catholics will say to you; nor consider the attitudes of the Catholics regarding the devotional use of these images. Sometimes we also forget that our love of self is bounding on idolatry!! Check yourself, bro.

Novena a chant? Repeated prayers are never incantations, understanding them in the esoteric sense of religious use. These repeated prayers can be expressions of a heart full of love for God and of God, bro. Even your "Praise the Lord and Amen" are repeated a thousand times in your prayer service bro ...will it not fit on your definition of "chant"?

Come on, don't be "holier than thou" attitude .. scandals, as Jesus said: will arise in the community of believers" and yes, even in your born again communities, bro. There are so many among pastors, too, if you will just research: incests, homosexuality, paid *** with a prostitute, *** with a member of the church, pedophile ***, etc. My point is that nobody can really claim to be clean in this corrupt world .. and even men & women in the ministry, regardless of denominations, are being attacked by Satan and are tempted much to fall so as not to spread the Good News effectively. We all need God to be strong in the midst of all these temptations. If you love Christ and adore God, then you will pray for all ministers of the Gospel regardless of their christian denomination, specially those who are vulnerable ... and tempted. Otherwise, "we don't practice what we believe" as Jesus said: Love one another as I love you ... pray for your enemies.

Please don't generalize, not all Catholics are as bad as you think they are. in the same way, not all people who are in the same religion as you are as good as you think you are.
