sos wa gyuy magdaog ani tawn.

mao bitaw ni rason nganong naay drift sa mga pagtuo sa mga taw.
    especially the panahon sa Crusades.
    World War 2.
    9/11.

    haha.

i don't know about your points. but i am a Roman Catholic not only born, but made. But i grew up in a place and environment where religious diversity is normal. In our clan, naay Born Again, Seventh Day Adventist, Muslim, Jehovah's Witness, UCCP, and Catholic.

But we all do fine. We are united. simply because, we don't let our DIFFERENCES IN RELIGION AND TEACHINGS separate us from each other nor create debates and fights.

I just don't understand why naay ubang religions nga mandaot sa pagtuo sa isig katawo even with the use of the Bible. i televise pa. i pick out tagsa tagsa ang faults sa relihiyon. i see it all over the tv. lol.

I don't know how other people understand it when our Catholic Church teaches us that we are also saved by good works. Di ko pari/madre para maka explain ani thoroughly, but this is what I got from what they teach us.

We are not saved by religion, but by God's grace, our relationship with Him. How do you manifest your faith and love for God? Isn't it through action? ok, how do you show it?

Do you think you're any better when mandaot kag laing tawo using what you are taught in the church? Is it showing your faith in God? Are you trying to educate people or proving yourself righteous?

Do you think God is pleased when mang judge kas laing tawo nga creature rapud niya?

dili ko bible-versed pero this is plain common sense. maybe you're too smart to understand the logic here.

P.S. wa koy gipangigo nga tawo, what i'm pointing out is we shouldn't let our differences in belief create debates and chaos amongst us.

coz di man jud ni mahuman. mangamatay na lang ta di gihapon ni mahuman nga debate. ang ending, kinsa may naka prove nga sakto? kinsa may mudaog? wala. kay wa man gyuy magpapildi.

Coz only God can judge. Only He knows who is right or wrong. We are just human beings, prone to error, temptation, misunderstanding, and even misinterpretations with His words. lol.

The HEART OF GOD (is it politically right to say such?), is as wide as the whole universe; there is room for everybody, even atheists and the like. hehehe

There were too many holes in the story: The New Testament contradicts the teachings of the Old Testament. There is only supposed to be one God, yet Catholics/Christians have God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus' life is identical to the life of the Egyptian god Horus, such as virgin birth, 12 disciples, birth date of Dec 25, among about 30 other things.

    Priests get away with molestation.

Women are inferior and the Bible condones rape.

    Slavery as well.

Jesus was just considered a mortal man up until he was declared as "divine" 300 years later at the Council of Nicea.

I could go on and on.

I used to be a Roman Catholic. I still believe in God but I am not associated with organized religion anymore.
