this one is talking about the diebold voting machine used by the US. it is controversial but is not the same as the pcos machines used last may 10 here. what is talked about here is most probably not applicable to us.

You cant say impossible. Dont underestimate what pinoy can do. Im Former Provincial IT officer. I know the capability of smartmatic developers. If you say cheating for local position is impossible then i agree with you. But for national? 1 Pres, 1 VP and 12senators? Doable.

Look at the process. look at where it all ends up. Its data at the highest level at the palm of your hands. Im not saying there was cheating but to say its impossible is ignorance.

Money talks. Why would you rob a Bank? You are talking millions/billions here as lagay. not to mention the perks you will have.

This is true. The PCOS runs on uClinux and strictly speaking, it is just an OS with its own set of libraries and not an application. Smartmatic developed their own applications, additional networking protocols and security schemes on top of linux which they have not shared for code review. That is why cenpeg (manalastas group) sued comelec. I got lost on what transpired on that but the election went through. Dunay mga nipalyar nga makina (technically) but the percentage is just quiet minuscule @ 0.07 percent. So in general Linux can be trusted to do job. Ug dihay problema sa cards it was not a problem on the linux per se. So I don't see any problem if linux will still be used in the next coming elections. The fact that linux code is quite arcane compared to the windows world makes new generation programmers stay away from it. So chances of writing rogue code (by the hired ITs) to sabotage the election is quite daunting a task.

How much do they pay the programmer? lets say 200,000 per month or ok 500,000.

even if name nila (smartmatic) nakataya Look at the Real life scenario if smartmatic people will control the President. They will have the credibility to win all national/local Computerization projects. Thats 100 million per province and around 30 million per municipality. Thats a lot of money involve.

    Money changes everything.

Sa ato pa, other countries who have contracts with smartmatic kay controlled sad nila?

This is just another conspiracy theory.

Again and again, before we conclude, dapat naa ebidensya or else this will just be another rumor.
