Default Gibo endorsed the empeachement of Davide, but not Erap's

I just can't reconcile the judgment of Gibo:

Erap impeachment -- did not endorse
Davide impeachment -- initiated the impeachment

    What do you think?

cojuangco has long history with the cronies of marcos. Which means, kung sino kasama nila dati-dati ay sila pa rin unless nagpatayan sila like any other brother running even in lowest position of barangay tapos nagpatayan pa. You think ramos has stepped on diff. path with enrile? you think marcoses has no more influence and affection with the singsons?..I would rather believe more the crisologos has parted ways with the singsons despite partly it has the first blood of being cousins...

Gibo led case vs. Davide: Chiz | Sun.Star Network Online

    By Elias O. Baquero

THE impeachment complaint against then Cebuano Supreme Court (SC) chief justice Hilario Davide Jr. was led by National Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro and Rep. Monico Fuentebella, said Sen. Franchis “Chiz” Escudero in a press conference yesterday.
Escudero made the statement after he was asked why he led an impeachment complaint against Davide, who chaired the impeachment trial of former President Joseph Estrada and who, later on, officiated in the oath-taking of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo after Joseph Estrada left Malacaņang in 2001.

Escudero said he was only one of the 78 who supported it, including some of Cebuano congressmen.
“Bear in mind that they (Cebuano congressmen) might have seen something also because they would have not supported the impeachment case if they have no reason to do it,” Escudero.
Escudero said the impeachment case against Davide was the only legal way and due process that can be accorded to a person who was being accused by employees of the Supreme Court at that time.
Other than an impeachment, there is no other way to look into the issues some members and officials of the SC raised against Davide regarding the Judicial Development Fund (JDF), Escudero said.
“I will not deal into the guilt or innocence of former chief justice Davide. That is water under the bridge because the SC refrained Congress from deciding on the matter and deciding on the issue,” Escudero said.
Escudero said he always takes a position based on what he believes is right.
For example, Escudero said, some SC officials and employees complained to Congress that they had not received their allowances for about six months to a year.
These allowances are supposed to be chargeable to the JDF, a law that former Ferdinand E. Marcos passed. The law allows the employees shares of court fees paid by litigants, then the court will have a share in the form of office equipment.
“Now, six months to a year has passed and the allowance was not being released. So, we asked the SC through then court administrator Presbetiro Velasco why the delay? But the SC said we don’t have to answer you because we have a fiscal autonomy. The SC is an independent body,” Escudero said.
Escudero said the SC employees again gave Congress other documents which showed that the High Tribunal spent P300 million to renovate the SC facilities.
“Question: did they earn billions of pesos for one year so they could have that 30 percent share, more or less, to renovate the SC (buildings)?” Escudero said.
He said that even if there was an impeachment case against Davide, it did not push through because the SC issued an order prohibiting Congress from deciding on the matter.
